Assistant Accountant (French/English) – Multinational Firm

About the role
We are looking for a bilingual Assistant Accountant to join our Accounting Expertise division. Working under a Senior Accountant, you will support a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, handling both French and English accounting tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, including data entry and account reconciliation.
- Match and verify accounts, conduct bank reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of client records.
- Prepare VAT returns and tax declarations for various client files.
- Provide support and advisory services to clients as needed.
Required profile
- Fluent in French and English.
- Previous experience in an accounting firm.
- Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and comfortable working in a team environment.
- Relevant education such as BTS, DUT in Accounting, AAT, or part‑qualified ACCA is a plus.
