Assistant Asset Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Asset Manager to join a fast‑growing commercial property investment company in Lancashire. You will act as the main point of contact between landlords and tenants, handling enquiries, viewings, lease negotiations and due‑diligence tasks while supporting the wider asset management team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with office administrators and the marketing team to promote vacant assets and manage property availability.
• Handle the full lease cycle: renewals, rent reviews, negotiations and compliance monitoring.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and health‑and‑safety checks.
• Liaise with building surveyors, contractors and external professionals to arrange and oversee maintenance works.
• Maintain accurate records in the property management database and assist with utility meter readings.
• Collaborate with regional managers, credit control, legal, and other departments to ensure seamless portfolio management.

Required profile

• Motivated, confident and solution‑focused with a "can‑do" attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
