About the role
Join a well‑established chartered accountancy firm in Surrey as an Assistant Audit Manager. This hybrid position offers the chance to develop your audit expertise while working closely with a supportive team and a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Review audit assignments, draft audit opinions and apply necessary qualifications.
- Prepare complex group statutory accounts using Caseware.
- Provide technical guidance on UK GAAP and UK ISAs.
- Review straightforward corporation tax computations.
- Coach, mentor and support junior team members.
- Build strong client relationships, manage audit timetables and address audit or accounting queries.
- Plan resources, manage workflow and prioritise assignments effectively.
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified professional.
- Solid background in audit practice.
- Strong IT proficiency and enjoyment of client‑facing work.
- Ability to manage resources and meet deadlines.
