About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to join our growing audit team in Blackburn. You will work on a variety of audit assignments for local clients, supporting the delivery of high‑quality audit and accounting services.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out audit assignments for local clients, including planning, fieldwork and reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts and year‑end accounts.
- Assist with VAT preparation and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients.
- Present audit findings and reports to clients.
Required profile
- Demonstrable experience or exposure to audit work.
- Knowledge of financial statements preparation.
- Understanding of management and year‑end accounts.
- Experience with VAT preparation.

- Audit methodology and procedures.
