Assistant Cargo Sales (London Heathrow)

About the role

Join American Airlines' Cargo Sales team in London Heathrow and provide essential inside‑sales support to field‑based Account Managers. You will help grow the SME customer portfolio by managing rate and capacity requests and ensuring high levels of service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the UK Cargo Sales team by handling customer enquiries and contributing to portfolio growth.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Service, Capacity Management, Revenue Management, and Operations.
• Provide commercial oversight to regional Cargo GSA partners operating through LHR.
• Evaluate and manage GSA capacity requests from Northern Europe and other regions.
• Assist Account Managers with customer requirements, enquiries, and commercial opportunities.
• Drive revenue growth by proactively identifying and developing existing and prospective SME customers via phone, virtual meetings, and targeted initiatives.
• Participate in regular internal sales, commercial, and business review meetings.
