Assistant Club Lounge Manager

About the role

The Assistant Club Lounge Manager supports the Club Lounge Manager in delivering premium service to guests at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere. This on‑site role ensures smooth daily operations, high food quality, safety standards, and guest satisfaction within a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Visually represent the Club Lounge and lead the team during shifts when the Manager is absent.
• Allocate daily roles, run the shift, and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
• Maintain cleanliness to detailed standards and manage stock levels, ordering supplies as needed.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and remain guest‑focused, handling orders and complaints promptly.
• Drive upselling opportunities and contribute to daily sales targets.
• Account for all monies and financial transactions during the shift.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings and stay informed about departmental and resort business.
• Be familiar with the menu, breakfast, evening, wine list, and bar offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an Assistant Manager role within a luxury or high‑volume hospitality setting.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience delivering results in food & beverage operations.
• Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage qualification preferred.
• Additional certifications in Food & Beverage are advantageous.

Required skills
