Assistant Contract Manager – Path to Full Contract Manager

About the role

This is a Bristol‑based position supporting the delivery of geotechnical and site‑investigation projects across the South West. You will work towards becoming a full Contract Manager while gaining hands‑on experience with drilling crews and client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing contracts for five drilling crews on rail, energy and highway projects.
• Coordinate client and site visits throughout the South West region.
• Support budgeting, scheduling and progress reporting for geotechnical works.
• Ensure health, safety and quality standards are met on all investigations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in site investigation or related field.
• Motivation to progress into contract management.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Based in or able to commute to Bristol.
