Assistant Director, Financial Diligence

About the role

The Financial Diligence team at EY‑Parthenon is seeking an Assistant Director to lead due‑diligence engagements on high‑profile IPOs and transactions. Based in London, you will work alongside experienced professionals, delivering financial analysis, risk assessment and strategic insights to clients, investors and banks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage due‑diligence projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across EY’s UK and international offices.
• Analyse target company financials, business projections and identify risks, opportunities and sensitivities.
• Develop and agree on value measurement approaches with clients, delivering clear, data‑driven recommendations.
• Prepare and review deliverables including written reports, presentations and client discussions.
• Monitor project progress, ensure timelines are met and maintain strong internal links with Financial Diligence and other service lines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial due‑diligence, corporate finance or related advisory roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex financial information.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as project demands.
