Assistant Director – Operational Due Diligence – Strategy & Execution

About the role

EY-Parthenon is seeking an Assistant Director to join its Operational Due Diligence (ODD) team in London. You will help originate new business, deliver high‑impact projects and advise senior clients on strategy and value‑creation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support business origination activities, including pitches and client presentations.
• Lead project delivery, working closely with senior client stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Advise clients across sectors on developing and executing strategies for value creation.
• Contribute to practice development initiatives and help maintain a great team environment.
• Provide flexible support on broader operational and IT work as needed.

Required profile

• Industry experience in engineering, supply chain or a graduate scheme at a large corporate.
• Consulting experience in a large‑scale environment with ability to translate analysis into actionable insights.
• Professional services or consulting background, preferably with due diligence, carve‑out or integration experience.
• Strong analytical capability to link operational analysis to financial statements and client strategy.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior clients and influence decisions.
• Role‑model attitude, supporting junior team development and participating in recruitment and training.
