Assistant Director – Procurement Operational Strategy

About the role

EY-Parthenon is seeking an Assistant Director to lead procurement and operational strategy projects for a portfolio of high‑profile clients. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to design and execute cost‑reduction and value‑creation initiatives across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise boards, C‑suite executives and investors on strategic procurement transformations.
• Lead project delivery teams, managing timelines, resources and client expectations.
• Develop and implement cost‑optimization, procurement optimisation and transaction‑value creation strategies.
• Identify quick‑win opportunities and ensure sustainable operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional experts to deliver end‑to‑end solutions, including carve‑outs, integrations and post‑deal value creation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consulting or industry roles delivering procurement and operational strategy projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with incomplete information under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable engaging with senior decision‑makers.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams and influencing client outcomes.
