Assistant Estimator / Technical Coordinator

About the role

Welbro is seeking an Assistant Estimator / Technical Coordinator to join its commercial team in Fareham. The role is ideal for candidates with some construction or technical background who want to develop their estimating and design skills within a specialist contractor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design information between clients, consultants and site teams, including site surveys and AutoCAD drawing production.
• Produce material schedules, place orders, and liaise with suppliers to ensure correct specifications and delivery.
• Review tender enquiries, carry out take‑offs, obtain quotations, and assist in preparing cost submissions and RFIs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in construction, technical, or estimating roles.
• Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general Office software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good communication skills with internal teams and external contacts.
