Assistant Facilities Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, technically‑minded Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of hard services across our workspaces. This hands‑on, mobile role will work closely with the Senior Facilities Manager and Technical Services Lead, acting as a key link between sites, contractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support creation, monitoring and improvement of facilities policies and health & safety arrangements.
• Maintain essential site documentation and act as liaison between building teams, contractors and senior management.
• Conduct building surveys and audits to ensure compliance with legislation and internal FM standards.
• Assist in tracking contractor performance and support health & safety risk assessments.
• Carry out administrative tasks and contribute to project‑based work such as building services upgrades.

Required profile

• Proactive and technically minded with a hands‑on approach.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Eager to learn and develop a long‑term career in facilities management.
• RICS qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
• Solid knowledge of hard services, M&E, HVAC, compliance and building operation.
