Assistant Facilities Manager – Site

About the role

The Assistant Facilities Manager works on the front line of MAPP’s site team, supporting the Senior Management team at Parklife Putney. You will help deliver high‑quality maintenance and service, focusing on hard services and contractor management.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake monthly building utility readings and log them centrally.
• Carry out daily fire safety checks, maintaining accurate records.
• Support the Line Manager with after‑hours building needs as required.
• Assist in managing soft‑services contractors.
• Liaise daily with occupiers to address their needs.
• Promote and manage sustainability initiatives throughout the building.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone and via email.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Pro‑active, flexible attitude and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to MAPP’s values and a focus on delivering high‑quality service.

Required skills

• IOSH Essential certification (NEBOSH desirable).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• Effective PC skills.
• Ability to use initiative and meet deadlines.
