Assistant General Manager – Leisure Hospitality Centre

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant General Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a busy leisure hospitality centre in Crawley. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the venue delivers top‑class service, safety and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and schedule front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff across all shifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for customers.
• Support the General Manager with administrative duties and financial reporting.
• Drive the centre to meet or exceed financial targets and service standards.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of management experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing setting (leisure, hospitality or retail).
• Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to inspire, develop and lead a large team.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Ambitious mindset with a focus on achieving results.
