Assistant General Manager – Luxury Wellness Destination

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join a brand‑new luxury wellness concept launching in Chelsea. You will work closely with the General Manager to shape the guest experience, embed operational systems and drive commercial performance in a fast‑growing, high‑end environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day‑to‑day studio operations across all departments.
• Lead by example on the front desk, setting service standards and culture.
• Deliver consistent, exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and development of front‑line staff.
• Implement and refine systems, processes and procedures for scalability.
• Monitor KPIs, contribute to performance reporting and drive improvement initiatives.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing and coordination across departments.
• Liaise with instructors, therapists and external partners to ensure smooth daily delivery.
• Support membership growth, retention and guest engagement programmes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational standards.
• Act as point of contact and cover leadership duties in the General Manager’s absence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Duty Manager or similar supervisory role within a service‑first environment.
• Commercially minded with a passion for wellness, hospitality and premium guest experiences.
• Strong leadership presence, able to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

• Competitive salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per year.
