Assistant General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

Join Nando's vibrant restaurant team in Colchester as an Assistant General Manager. You’ll help lead daily operations, inspire staff, and ensure every guest enjoys the signature PERi-PERi experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant functions, including service, food quality, and health & safety.
• Drive team performance through coaching, scheduling, and motivating staff.
• Maintain financial targets, control costs, and contribute to profit‑and‑loss reporting.
• Ensure consistent delivery of the Nando's brand standards across all customer touchpoints.
• Identify and develop talent for future managerial roles.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality, food, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Previous management experience in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
• High energy, strong leadership presence, and a collaborative mindset.
• Customer‑obsessed attitude with a focus on quality and consistency.

Required skills
