Assistant Independent Living Partner – Bordon

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and organised Assistant Independent Living Partner to support older residents living independently within a busy housing scheme in Bordon. This temporary role offers the chance to make a real difference while gaining valuable experience in the housing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for residents, providing tenancy and scheme management support.
• Carry out agreed welfare contacts and signpost residents to relevant support services.
• Manage social alarm systems and respond to alerts promptly.
• Conduct health and safety and compliance checks across the scheme.
• Encourage resident involvement and support community engagement activities.
• Use IT systems to maintain accurate records and manage workload efficiently.

Required profile

• Experience in housing, support, independent living or a customer‑focused environment.
• Understanding of the needs of older people and a commitment to promoting independent living.
• Strong communication abilities and confidence working independently.
• Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle and willingness to travel across the region.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with IT systems for record‑keeping and workload management.
