Assistant Independent Living Partner

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Independent Living Partner to support residents in Independent Living schemes across Bordon. This role is the first point of contact for older adults, helping them maintain independence, safety, and wellbeing within their homes and community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver housing and tenancy management services within Independent Living schemes.
• Conduct welfare checks and provide support to residents.
• Identify support needs and refer residents to appropriate internal and external services.
• Manage social alarm systems and respond promptly to resident requests.
• Perform health and safety inspections and ensure compliance.
• Support resident engagement and community activities.
• Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems.
• Provide cover across the region when required.

Required profile

• Compassionate, organised, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Experience working with older people or vulnerable adults.
• Knowledge of housing, tenancy, or support‑related services.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
