Assistant Independent Living Partner – Temporary (3 months)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Independent Living Partner to join a leading housing provider in Bordon on a three‑month temporary contract. The role supports residents in maintaining independent living and sustaining their tenancies, working 37 hours per week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality housing management and tenancy support to residents.
• Conduct welfare visits, property inspections and tenancy‑related visits.
• Build strong relationships with residents, partner agencies and support services.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal IT systems.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and make appropriate referrals.
• Respond to customer enquiries, offering practical advice and support.
• Manage a varied caseload independently, prioritising workload.
• Promote resident wellbeing and tenancy sustainment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housing management, independent living, supported housing or tenancy support.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Strong record‑keeping and IT proficiency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and partner agencies.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable customers.
• Experience within a housing association or local authority is desirable.

• Hourly rate up to £21.31 (umbrella).
