Assistant Lettings Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Lettings Manager to support a high‑performing residential lettings team in Upminster. Working closely with the Lettings Manager, you will help run the branch day‑to‑day, drive performance and ensure exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Lettings Manager with daily branch operations.
• Motivate, coach and develop the lettings team to meet individual and branch targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and applicants.
• Carry out property valuations, negotiate offers and progress lettings to completion.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.
• Lead by example and contribute to the branch’s growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years recent, continuous experience in residential lettings.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, organised and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and administrative competence.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• CRM or property management software.

• Basic salary £21,000‑£24,000 per year (DOE) with realistic OTE £40,000‑£42,000.
