Assistant Lettings Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to step up into an Assistant Lettings Manager role with a respected independent estate agency in Lee. You will work closely with the Lettings Manager to grow the residential lettings portfolio while delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Lettings Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the branch.
• Generate new business through valuations, winning instructions and relationship building.
• Develop and increase market share via proactive business development activities.
• Lead, motivate and support the lettings team to meet performance targets.
• Provide a high standard of service throughout the lettings process for landlords, tenants and applicants.
• Maintain professional standards while maximising commercial opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential lettings, preferably as a Lettings Negotiator.
• Track record of winning instructions and conducting lettings valuations.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
• Strong sales, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Professional, confident and customer‑focused approach.
• Good knowledge of the South East London property market (advantageous).
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
