Assistant Lettings Manager – Lettings Support Role

About the role

This position supports the Lettings Manager in a busy Upminster branch, offering a clear path for ambitious lettings professionals. You will work alongside a small team, helping to drive new business and ensure smooth lettings operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Lettings Manager with day‑to‑day lettings activities, from property viewings to tenancy agreements.
• Generate and nurture new business leads, ensuring a steady pipeline of lettings opportunities.
• Motivate and support colleagues, fostering a collaborative office environment.
• Handle listings, negotiations and closing of tenancy deals.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Required profile

• Proven lettings experience within an estate agency, ideally as a Lettings Manager, Senior Lettings Negotiator or Assistant Lettings Manager.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and take ownership of tasks.
• Ambition to progress career in the residential property sector.

Required skills

• Strong selling, listing and closing abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and client relationships simultaneously.
