Assistant Lettings Manager – Residential Lettings

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Lettings Manager to support the Lettings Manager in a busy residential lettings branch in Upminster. This role offers a clear path to management, with training, development and the chance to influence branch performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Lettings Manager with day‑to‑day branch operations.
• Take charge of branch activities and lead the team in the manager’s absence.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members to meet individual and branch targets.
• Deliver high‑quality service to landlords, tenants and prospective clients.
• Drive business growth through proactive client engagement and market knowledge.
• Ensure compliance, accuracy and attention to detail throughout the lettings process.
• Promote professional standards and best practice across the team.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years’ consistent experience in residential lettings.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable working in a target‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
