Assistant Management Accountant

About the role

This newly created position supports a growing healthcare organisation in Redhill, strengthening the finance function and working closely with the Finance Manager. It offers broad responsibilities and exposure to senior stakeholders, ideal for developing management accounting expertise in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts.
• Produce management information and performance reports.
• Conduct budget reporting and variance analysis.
• Perform control account reconciliations.
• Compile, review and analyse financial data.
• Support multiple reporting streams across the organisation.
• Work closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting management accounts preparation.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Good technical finance knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Effective communication with finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Part‑qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent (advantageous).
