Assistant Management Accountant – Part Qualified (Accrington)

About the role

This is a full‑time Assistant Management Accountant position based in Accrington, designed for a part‑qualified finance professional (ACCA or CIMA). Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role offers a clear three‑phase development pathway leading to a full Management Accountant role.

Key responsibilities

• Support the month‑end close process and help produce the management accounts pack with commentary.
• Manage budget, cash‑flow forecasting and variance analysis.
• Assist the Head of Finance with implementing new finance processes as the business scales.
• Take ownership of process improvements and contribute to rapid growth initiatives.
• Progress through defined phases to become a fully fledged Management Accountant.

• Part‑qualified ACCA or CIMA candidate with genuine ambition.
• Strong analytical mindset and desire to develop commercial finance expertise.
