Assistant Management Accountant - Site Based

About the role

This is a full‑time, office‑based position supporting the Finance Team of a high‑growth business in Stockton on Tees. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will help manage financial reporting and compliance across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of year‑end accounts for several companies.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Compile periodic management reports for senior leadership.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance function as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely financial data.

Required profile

• AAT qualification or currently studying towards it.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to assist across finance areas.

Required skills

• Competent Microsoft Excel skills.
