Assistant Manager – Fashion Retail (Lakeside)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join a leading fashion retailer at Lakeside. You will support the leadership team in driving store performance, developing a high‑performing team, and delivering an engaging visual merchandising experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a retail team to achieve sales and KPI targets.
• Drive sales productivity and ensure exceptional customer service across the store.
• Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Support day‑to‑day operations, including stock management and store standards.
• Analyse sales performance, identify commercial opportunities and act on them.
• Assist with recruitment, training and succession planning.

Required profile

• Previous management experience in fashion, footwear, accessories or lifestyle retail.
• Strong passion for visual merchandising with an eye for detail.
• Proven track record of driving sales and meeting KPI performance.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent organisational skills.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment is highly desirable.
