Assistant Manager – Private Client Tax

About the role

We are partnering with a respected firm of tax specialists to recruit an Assistant Manager for their private client team. The role focuses on high‑net‑worth individuals, delivering personal tax compliance and advisory services while offering exposure to complex planning matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth private clients.
• Provide personal tax compliance and advisory work.
• Support residence, domicile and inheritance tax (IHT) planning.
• Liaise directly with clients, ensuring a high level of service.
• Optional involvement in corporate tax projects, if desired.

Required profile

• Solid background in personal or private client tax.
• ATT and/or CTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Enjoys building long‑term client relationships.
• Keen to develop technically within a specialist tax environment.

Required skills

• Personal tax compliance knowledge.
• Understanding of residence, domicile and IHT planning.
