Assistant Manager – Pub

About the role

As an Assistant Manager at Greene King in Caterham, you will support the General Manager in running a busy pub, ensuring excellent customer experiences and smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day‑to‑day business operations and act as the lead in their absence.
• Lead the team to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Train, develop and motivate staff, acting as a role model.
• Maintain health, safety and food hygiene standards at all times.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Experience in pub or restaurant management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
