Assistant Manager – Pub Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our award‑winning pub team in Tiverton. You will support the General Manager in delivering excellent guest experiences and driving the business forward.

Key responsibilities

• Step in for the General Manager when required, ensuring smooth pub operations.
• Support the GM in meeting financial and business KPIs.
• Inspire and motivate the team on each shift to deliver memorable service.
• Maintain high standards of food, drink and hygiene compliance.
• Help manage stock, ordering and cost control.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for guests and staff.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Assistant or Deputy Manager role within a similar branded pub or hospitality environment.
• Strong passion for leading and developing a team.
• Commitment to doing the right thing for guests and colleagues.
• Ability to take accountability for the pub’s performance when deputising.
