Assistant Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our Five Guys restaurant in Crumpsall. You will work closely with the General Manager, leading a team of Shift Managers and crew to deliver high‑quality burgers, fries and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach the restaurant team, ensuring a positive working environment.
• Support the General Manager in achieving profitability, sales targets and cost control.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations on the line and dining area, handling customer complaints promptly.
• Own the restaurant P&L, driving sales while controlling expenses.
• Develop team members, spotting potential and building a talent pipeline.
• Uphold Five Guys values – Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done, Integrity.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of management experience in a fast‑food or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Ability to work hands‑on and maintain high standards of food quality and service.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
