Assistant Manager – Retail (Barnet, UK)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our Savers store in Barnet. You will help create a warm, supportive environment, inspire the team to achieve excellent results and build strong connections with the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
• Maintain a welcoming store atmosphere and ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
• Identify sales opportunities, develop routines and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
• Engage with the local community, representing the store at events and building relationships.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Strong delegation and people‑management skills.
• Ability to organise daily routines and spot opportunities to increase sales.
• Commitment to keeping people at the heart of every decision.
