Assistant Manager – Retail Beauty

About the role

Space NK is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join its Marlborough store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, ensure excellent customer service and develop a high‑performing team in a fast‑moving beauty environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Deliver consistent product training and unbiased advice to customers.
• Manage payroll spend, scheduling and people planning within budget.
• Maintain stock accuracy by following handling policies and minimizing loss.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics such as ATV, AUS and conversion rates.
• Analyse commercial reports to identify business opportunities.
• Assist with recruitment, retention and performance management of a diverse team.
• Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment for staff and customers.
