Assistant or Associate Professor – Strategy & International Business

About the role

Cambridge Judge Business School is seeking a research scholar in Strategy at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The position joins the Strategy and International Business group, which investigates how organisations navigate disruption, global competition, and sustainability challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a high‑impact research agenda in strategy, organisation theory and international business.
• Publish findings in leading academic journals and maintain a strong pipeline of papers.
• Teach undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programmes, delivering engaging lectures and seminars.
• Supervise dissertations and manage research projects, including collaborations with visiting scholars.
• Contribute to departmental service, such as committee work and academic administration.

Required profile

• PhD in strategy, international business or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of impactful research, evidenced by publications and a clear future research plan.
• Extensive teaching experience in premium business school programmes or executive education.
• Ability to supervise student research and manage project administration.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and methodological expertise in strategy research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for academic publishing and teaching.
