Assistant Project Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international property consultancy to hire an Assistant Project Manager for our Building Consultancy team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in commercial project management, working on a diverse portfolio of Cat A and Cat B office fit‑out projects for a range of occupier and investor clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of commercial fit‑out projects from inception to practical completion.
• Assist with coordination of consultants, contractors and specialist advisers.
• Prepare programmes, client reports and project documentation.
• Help manage landlord and tenant matters related to project delivery.
• Support tender processes, contract administration and change control.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules and produce progress reports.
• Attend and coordinate project meetings, taking minutes and action items.
• Carry out site inspections and assist with valuations and certifications.

Required profile

• A degree in Building Surveying, Project Management or a related construction discipline.
• Experience supporting commercial construction, refurbishment or fit‑out projects.
• Good understanding of project management principles and contract administration.
• Strong communication, organisation and report‑writing abilities.
• Confidence to work with clients, consultants and contractors.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the RIBA Plan of Work (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (advantageous).
