Assistant Project Manager – Project Bridge (French & English)

About the role

Join EDF as an Assistant Project Manager on the high‑profile Project Bridge programme. You will start at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, supporting the delivery of the UK EPR nuclear project, before relocating to France to work on future EPR2 sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and hand‑over activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
• Support Project Managers in planning, governance, risk management and earned‑value tracking.
• Collaborate with commercial, procurement, engineering, construction, project controls and safety functions.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer between the UK and French nuclear new‑build programmes.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, steel design, manufacturing or a related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated project management and organisational abilities gained through practical experience.
• Member of APM or PMI, or proven understanding of APM Body of Knowledge principles.
• Business‑level proficiency in spoken and written French.
