Assistant Property Manager

About the role

Our client, an independent residential property management business based in Teddington, is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support the day‑to‑day management of a varied residential portfolio. The role offers hands‑on experience across inspections, maintenance coordination and landlord‑tenant communications, providing a solid foundation for a long‑term career in property management.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client, landlord and tenant enquiries via phone, email and post.
• Assist with property inspections and site visits.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance issues and issue instructions to contractors.
• Support the administration of invoices, arrears and property records.
• Update client files, insurance claims and resident communications.
• Provide general administrative support to the residential property management team.

Required profile

• Previous administrative or customer‑service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
