Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Luxury Residential Projects

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a fast‑growing super‑prime luxury residential contractor in South West London. You will be office‑based in Clapham Junction, supporting high‑value projects ranging from £1 million to £20 million and working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor and the Director.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
• Support the Senior QS in cost control, value engineering and risk assessment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate cost databases and track variations against budgets.
• Prepare regular cost reports and assist in client and stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to the preparation of final accounts and post‑project cost analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in main‑contracting construction.
• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.
