About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to support a thriving automotive dealership in Southend-on-Sea. This full‑time position offers a competitive salary plus commission and the chance to develop a high‑performing sales team in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Sales Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the sales department.
• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to achieve performance targets.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure an exceptional customer journey.
• Assist with stock management, sales processes and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ automotive sales management experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Professional, enthusiastic and customer‑focused attitude.
