Assistant Site Cleaning Manager

About the role

Join a leading commercial cleaning provider in Chiswick, London as an Assistant Site Cleaning Manager. You will support the Contract Manager in overseeing the evening cleaning operation, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and a motivated team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support evening cleaning teams across the site.
• Plan workloads, manage rotas and arrange cover for holidays and absences.
• Monitor productivity and ensure all scheduled cleaning tasks meet standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and resolve service issues promptly.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members through one‑to‑ones and performance management.
• Assist with recruitment, inductions and ongoing training.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, RAMS and safe working practices.
• Prepare operational reports, audits and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor equipment and consumable stock levels to sustain operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Organised, proactive and hands‑on leader.
• Enjoys fast‑paced environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management or a similar field.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Ability to motivate, coach and develop high‑performing teams.
