Assistant Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of residential developments across the UK. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will help coordinate trades, manage resources and ensure projects meet programme, quality and cost targets while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Attend regular Sales/Build meetings and ensure compliance with sales procedures and show‑home inspections.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required, taking ownership of site‑level decisions.
• Support the on‑site construction team with clear guidance, training and resource allocation.
• Deliver high standards of customer service in line with company guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience working within established build programmes.
• Assertive approach to achieve targets and manage on‑site teams.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a changing environment.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders or NVQ level qualification in Construction Management, or a seasoned tradesperson with extensive construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
