Assistant Store Manager Designate – Retail (Bristol)

About the role

Lead with confidence and grow your career as an Assistant Store Manager Designate for Superdrug. Based in Bristol, you will travel between stores within an hour’s radius, supporting teams and gaining varied experience before moving into a permanent store.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the Store Manager to recruit, inspire and motivate a team to exceed sales targets.
• Drive sales through promotions, merchandising and effective stock control.
• Maintain operational excellence, including audits, budgets and stock management.
• Create an engaging environment for customers and colleagues.
• Provide optional piercing services after full training.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Passion for customer service and sales.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on hitting targets.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
