Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Superdrug is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join its Birstall store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help lead a passionate team, drive sales and ensure an engaging shopping experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, inspire and motivate staff to exceed sales targets.
• Boost sales through promotions, effective merchandising and stock control.
• Create a fun, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain operational excellence, including audits, budgeting and stock management.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience.
• Strong passion for customer service and sales.
• Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on hitting targets.
• Willingness to perform optional piercing services (training provided).
