Assistant Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and drive sales in a fast‑paced retail environment in Berkshire. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth store functioning and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing day‑to‑day store operations, including stock deliveries, replenishment and visual merchandising.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve queries or complaints promptly.
• Supervise, motivate and develop the retail team to maintain high performance and morale.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and store standards.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and work towards KPIs.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a passion for service.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
