Assistant Store Manager – Luxury Beauty Retail

About the role

We are partnering with an emerging luxury beauty brand and are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the store’s growth in Gerrards Cross. The role combines hands‑on leadership, operational oversight and delivering a premium customer experience on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure efficiency and a positive experience for customers and team members.
• Work closely with the Store Manager to drive performance, maintain high standards of presentation and uphold operational procedures.
• Lead, motivate and coach the team, fostering an engaged and high‑performing environment.
• Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, leading by example and handling customer queries professionally.
• Assist with onboarding, training and development of staff.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure merchandising standards are met.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager or similar leadership role.
• Background in beauty, luxury, premium retail or a customer‑focused environment is preferred.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Confident people leader who enjoys developing and motivating teams.
• Organised, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
• Commercially aware with a hands‑on approach.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
