About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of a busy optical practice in South London. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will help ensure a high standard of customer service while driving business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in running a large optical practice, keeping customer service a top priority.
- Manage store opportunities, prepare reports and support the General Manager.
- Help set, monitor and achieve sales and performance targets.
- Lead staff training, motivation and engagement initiatives.
- Oversee administrative duties and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an optical or retail environment.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a self‑motivated attitude.
- Confident, friendly, organised and able to work under pressure.
