Assistant Store Manager – Part‑time (Aldershot)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of our fashion store in Aldershot. This part‑time role offers the chance to develop retail leadership skills while contributing to the British Heart Foundation’s charitable mission.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in running the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
• Deliver the highest standard of customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
• Assist with recruitment, training and development of volunteers.
• Participate in campaign activities and manage stock alongside the Store Manager.
• Work a flexible rota, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet the store’s 7‑day trading schedule.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Commercially driven with a willingness to generate new ideas.
