Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

The Body Shop is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in delivering retail excellence and strong sales results. You will help shape a customer‑focused store experience while supporting the brand’s ethical and sustainable values.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and motivate the team to achieve exceptional customer service standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house, ensuring efficiency and harmony on the shop floor.
• Analyse store performance data, monitor sales targets and support commercial decision‑making.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the beauty market, competitors and product range.
• Assist in developing customer loyalty and brand awareness.

Required profile

• High enthusiasm for The Body Shop brand and its ethical business approach.
• Strong relationship and communication skills to coordinate between customers, team members and the Store Manager.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑changing retail environment and manage change.

Required skills
