Assistant Vice President – Data Analytics & Insight Generation

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President to lead data‑driven insight generation within our Investment Banking Operations. The role blends business analysis, technology, and data science to deliver rapid quantitative solutions that improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and uncover new opportunities across our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse, and translate complex data patterns into actionable insights that influence business decisions.
• Apply rigorous problem‑solving techniques to large‑scale datasets (hundreds of millions of records).
• Partner with business, technology and product teams to define problem‑solving approaches and success metrics.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable workflows to analyse trade and workflow data, pinpointing inefficiencies, anomalies and emerging trends.
• Communicate insights through narratives, dashboards and visualisations for diverse financial‑market stakeholders.
• Support the evolution of reactive products into preventative AI/ML tooling.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Investment Banking Operations or consulting with a strong track record of delivering data‑driven products.
• Ability to work independently and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measurable business impact.
