Assistant Vice President – IT Audit (London/Paris/Switzerland)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, IT Audit will lead risk‑based technology and information security audits across QNB’s operations in London, Paris and Switzerland. The role also supports Group‑wide audits, providing technical expertise in infrastructure, cyber security, cloud computing, data management, user access management and technology operations.

Key responsibilities

• Independently lead audit assignments and perform risk assessments.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of controls and identify improvement opportunities.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Support audits across multiple international jurisdictions and regulatory environments.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CGEIT or CRISC.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT audit, with at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in a major bank or leading audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of technology risks, cyber‑security controls, cloud technologies, infrastructure, applications and data protection.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
